Heather Lea Garrick Clothing, established in 1996, sprouted from a mission of Heather's to express peace and understanding in the world via usable artforms such as yoga and textiles. Thanks to art scholarships & awards she went on to study art, photography, and design at Syracuse University in New York, London, and Kenya. She has been a professional photographer for museums and newspapers, metal sculptor, and dancer. It is this professional training that brings her to handpainting her apparel pieces, designing, putting importance on local production and using the highest quality fabrics possible. Sustainable organic cottons and items which feel transcendant is our goal!

Heather is an intrepid traveler, and has developed her acute intuition for picking design ideas of cultures worldwide to express in her refined and practical clothing line. Heather completed an intensive yoga teacher training program in Seattle at Samadhi Yoga in 2005 with Kathleen Hunt and is registered and certified with the National Yoga Alliance. She is married and has a 2 year old daughter. Doing yoga with her daughter Pele, enjoying music, floating and sending healing love to the oceans are top priority!
